Cute Sleeper

For a few weeks now Jackson has been sleeping in such funny positions... Every time I walk into his room, it seems, I take a photo while trying not to laugh and wake him :) --- He refuses to sleep on his tummy, he flips to this on-his-knees position as soon as I leave the room... He also likes to have his face in a corner of the crib, his face in the bumper... ;-)

My Blog Title

The title of my page comes from one of my favorite books, "Kept for the Master's Use" By: Frances Havergal (1836-1879) . She wrote the hymn "Take My Life and Let it Be". She wrote many hymns, poems and devotional books. I have most of her devotional books thanks to bookfinder.com :) I hope to share some of her writings and other writings from my favorite devotional writers on my Blog in the future!

"I Gave My Life for Thee"
(A hymn by Frances Havergal written in 1858)

I gave My life for thee, My precious blood I shed,That thou might ransomed be, and raised up from the dead I gave, I gave My life for thee, what hast thou given for Me? I gave, I gave My life for thee, what hast thou given for Me?

My Father’s house of light, My glory circled throne I left for earthly night, for wanderings sad and lone;I left, I left it all for thee, hast thou left aught for Me? I left, I left it all for thee, hast thou left aught for Me?

I suffered much for thee, more than thy tongue can tell, Of bitterest agony, to rescue thee from hell.I’ve borne, I’ve borne it all for thee, what hast thou borne for Me? I’ve borne, I’ve borne it all for thee, what hast thou borne for Me?

And I have brought to thee, down from My home above, Salvation full and free, My pardon and My love; I bring, I bring rich gifts to thee, what hast thou brought to Me? I bring, I bring rich gifts to thee, what hast thou brought to Me?

Blog Time!

Welcome to my little Blog! Now that I’ve signed up for one, it’s kind of hard to believe I’ve never had one! Many of my friends know that I love Facebook... I love to know what every one is up to and I love sharing my latest news on there too! Also, Andrew, my brother jokingly said I should start a news page because I was telling him the latest Facebook news, which he had missed… and then my Mom said the other day that she just re-read a nine page letter I wrote last year and she thinks I should write more… so here I go! Welcome to my Blog!!!
